VALORANT Regional Leagues 2022 CIS: Milestone Stage 1 Officially Canceled
3889Tournament operator GIG.ME, responsible for hosting VALORANT Regional Leagues 2022 CIS: Milestone Stage 1, has announced the cancellation of the championship. Recall that earlier a similar fate befell the LCL Spring 2022, which was also hosted by GIG.ME.
After discussions with the Regional League licensee, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the VALORANT Regional League: Landmark Spring Split. In these difficult times for the region, we find it impossible to continue the tournament. Unfortunately, as a consequence of this decision, the CIS teams will miss the VCT EMEA promotion tournament. As soon as the opportunity arises, we will immediately share plans for the next stage of the VALORANT Regional League: Landmark CIS.
VALORANT Regional Leagues 2022 CIS: Milestone Stage 1 kicked off on February 15th. However, a week later, the organizers suspended the championship, promising to provide updated information. However, GIG.ME was unable to agree on a resumption of the event, resulting in the cancellation of the tournament.
