Rebels Gaming became the winner of VALORANT Regional Leagues 2022 Spain: Rising Stage 1
5571VALORANT Regional Leagues 2022 Spain: Rising Stage 1 has come to an end. At the championship, which was held online from February 15 to March 20, ten teams from Italy, Spain and Portugal fought for a prize pool of €20,000, as well as a ticket to VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Challengers Promotion. The winner of the tournament was the Rebels Gaming team, which in the grand final was stronger than Case Esports with a score of 3:2 (Ascent - 6:13; Icebox - 13:8; Haven - 13:6; Bind - 8:13; Split - 13: 8).
The tournament for the future winner started with a difficult performance at the group stage, during which Rebels Gaming got six wins and also lost three matches.
Nevertheless, the team managed to make it to the playoffs, where they confidently coped with Team Queso (3:0) and KOI (3:2), thus making it to the grand final. In the decisive match, the team managed to cope with Case Esports (3:2), thanks to which they qualified for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Challengers Promotion.
