XSET became the winner of Nerd Street Gamers: Winter Championship

Came to the end of Nerd Street Gamers: Winter Championship. At the championship, which was held online from February 7 to 9, 24 teams from North America competed for a prize pool of $50,000. The winner of the tournament was the XSET team, which in the grand final was stronger than the Knights with a score of 2:0 (Bind - 13:10; Breeze - 14:12).

The championship for the future winner began with two group stages. On the first day of Nerd Street Gamers: Winter Championship, the team became the winner of their quartet, outplaying Evil Geniuses (13:5) and Reformed (2:1), thus earning a ticket to the second day of the competition. A day later, XSET again managed to show a good game, taking second place in their quartet. At the same time, the team, having lost to The Guard (0:2), found the strength to beat Oxygen Academy twice (13:2; 2:0) and reach the playoffs of the event.

Here, XSET literally rushed through the tournament bracket, outplaying NRG (2:0) and Reformed (2:1) to reach the grand final. In the decisive match, the team turned out to be stronger than the Knights in a tense struggle, thanks to which they earned $20,000.
