Two new leaders have been identified within their groups - Gambit Esports and Team Liquid

The third day of the group stage at VALORANT Champions 2021 is over. So what do we have? Only two matches in a day - and already two teams in the playoffs. Congratulations to Gambit Esports and Team Liquid on qualifying from the groups, while Team Vikings and Sentinels can only wish you good luck in the last chance bracket.

Gambit Esports - Team Vikings

This day began with a meeting between the Russian team and the team from Brazil. The first two maps went literally in one direction for the pickers: Split with a score of 13: 6 in favor of Gambit, Bind with a score of 13: 5 for the Brazilians.

The beloved Icebox was decisive. Both teams scored 9 victories and 3 defeats for the sides of the defense and, accordingly, the attacks, and even went to an additional round, which the guys from Gambit Esports were still able to pick up.

Sentinels - Team Liquid

The second, but no less spectacular match. The confrontation began with the pick of Team Liquid, where both teams showed themselves much better for the defense side and entered the special stages, where the liquid teams gathered and won on their map with a score of 14:12. And the second map was Bind for the Sentinels, which they took without much resistance with a score of 13: 2.

And Split became the decisive map, where both teams showed equal play, but Team Liquid managed to put the squeeze on in the second half for the attack and took the upper hand with a score of 13:10.
