Gambit, Sentinels and Team Liquid started their journey to VALORANT Champions 2021 with victories

The second game day at VALORANT Champions 2021 is over, as a result of which Gambit, Team Liquid and Sentinels won their first championship victories. However, the tournament does not end for the teams that lost their first matches, Team Secret, KRÜ Esports and FURIA Esports will continue to fight in the group stage, but already in losers.

Gambit Esports - Team Secret

The game day started with a meeting between two serious rivals. Team Secret players showed a very confident attack on Icebox, confirming a serious attitude at their peak - 13: 6.
In response to this, Gambit Esports defeated the opponent on a dry run at their peak Breeze - 13: 0.
On the final map, Bind Team Secret tried to rehabilitate themselves by showing good rounds, but Gambit Esports again showed their confident attack and brought the map, and with it, the meeting to the final point - 13: 6.

Sentinels - FURIA Esports

The second fight turned out to be more fierce, but still the Brazilian team could not defeat their opponent.
The meeting started on the Ascent map, the choice of the North American team. The teams showed an equal game, but at one point the Sentinels seized the moment and seized the dominance on the map - 13: 9. Then the teams moved to the Breeze map, where passions continued to heat up, but the Brazilian team was quite confidently able to end their peak with a victory - 13:10. On the final map, the Haven Sentinels were able to recover from an offensive defeat on the Breeze and took the first half devastatingly, then everything was a matter of technique - 13: 9. The first victory in the tournament is already in the piggy bank.

KRÜ Esports - Team Liquid

The final match of the game day looked very sluggish. The Latin American team KRÜ Esports was unable to show a decent game and impose some kind of struggle on the "liquid". At their Haven peak, they were able to pick up only 5 rounds, with 4 in the first half. Absolutely toothless game and a logical score - 13: 5. Next, Team Liquid's Ascent pick came into play. KRÜ also showed absolutely no initiative in the first half, but in the second half they cheered up, but this was not enough and Liquid took the victory at their pick and the meeting as a whole - 13: 8.
