FURIA becomes another participant of VALORANT Champions 2021
The VCT 2021: South America Last Chance Qualifier has come to an end. At the tournament, which took place from October 11 to 17 in Sao Paulo, eight teams from Latin America fought for one ticket to VALORANT Champions 2021. The winner of the championship was the FURIA team, which beat Australs in the grand final with a score of 3: 0 (Icebox - 13: 2; Ascent - 13: 6; Split - 13: 5), thereby guaranteeing participation in the final tournament of the season.
For the future winner, the championship began with the group stage, where in the first round FURIA lost to Australs (1: 2). However, in the future, the Brazilian team beat E-Xolos LAZER (2: 0) and Sharks Esports (2: 0), thereby guaranteeing participation in the playoffs.
In the semifinals of the tournament, FURIA had to spend a lot of energy to beat Gamelanders Blue (2: 1). Ultimately, however, the Brazilians not only made it to the grand final, but also gained incredible confidence in the main championship match to take revenge for the Australs defeat. As a result, the revenge was a success, since FURIA showed three confident cards, in all cases, not allowing the opponent to break through Total.
