Looking forward to the start of VCT 2021: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier

There are only a few hours left before the start of VCT 2021: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier, which means that it's time to meet the participants of the championship and assess the chances of getting to VALORANT Champions 2021. Recall that VCT 2021: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier will be held from 10 to 17 October online. Eight teams from Europe, the CIS and Turkey will compete for the main prize - a trip to VALORANT Champions 2021.

Outsiders

The Egyptian team Anubis Gaming, which made it to the tournament thanks to the allocated quota for the Strike Arabia Grand Finals, seems to be a clear outsider. However, already in the quarterfinals, Anubis Gaming will have to meet with G2 Esports, which does not bode well. And the team can hardly boast of history, since it got out of the abyss of student leagues and local championships.

Futbolist and Oxygen Esports have no less interesting fate, since both Turkish teams showed a disgusting ending to the season, finding themselves outside the Masters in Berlin. Another thing is that VCT 2021: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier for them will begin with a face-to-face meeting, although in the future the teams will have to fight with European giants.

Interesting to watch

Just a couple of weeks ago, One Breath Gaming unveiled a new roster by buying out the core of forZe. Thanks to this, the team got a slot at VCT 2021: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier. I don't think the team will be able to take first place, but given the strong roster and experienced coach, One Breath Gaming can impose a fight on the favorites and, perhaps, end up in the TOP-4.

The fate of Guild Esports seems to be no less interesting. The Swedes failed in VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs, blown away already in the first stages. However, the composition of the team attracts attention with personalities, which individually are no worse than more successful competitors in the region. In any case, it all depends on the motivation of Guild Esports, which will have to test SuperMassive Blaze already in the quarterfinals.

Don't forget about SuperMassive Blaze. The Turkish team shot at VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs, finishing second. However, in Berlin, the team failed, even failing to reach the playoffs. And there is a feeling that we have a strong online roster that is not able to build on its success in the LAN format.

Favorites

There is no doubt that G2 Esports and Team Liquid will play for a ticket to VALORANT Champions 2021. If the former have already played in the new roster, getting into the TOP-4 at VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin, then the liquid ones have made a loud transfer, finally inviting Nivera.

Now it is extremely interesting to watch Team Liquid, because individually it is the strongest team in Europe. And taking into account not the most difficult grid, the team can quickly advance to the final of the upper bracket.

Anyway, VCT 2021: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier will give us a lot of surprises. And if the outsiders are unlikely to be able to resist the favorites, then the “dark horses” will certainly contribute to the balance of power.
