ESL Challenger Melbourne 2023

ESL Challenger Melbourne 2023 is the next TIER-1.5 tournament hosted by ESL. A few years ago, the tournament series replaced the DreamHack Open, held every few months. The CS:GO tournament is now part of the overall ecosystem, offering the winner a ticket to the ESL Pro League.
ESL Challenger Melbourne 2023 will take place from April 28-30 in Melbourne at the Rod Laver Arena. The event will see eight teams from Europe, Oceania, North America and Asia compete for a combined $100,000 prize pool, points towards the BLAST Premier table and a slot into the ESL Pro League Season 18 group stage.
Notably, Melbourne has already hosted a tournament of a similar series last year. In September 2022, Brazil's paiN Gaming won, beating Imperial Esports 2-1 in the final.
