Team Liquid becomes RLCS Champion 2022-23 - Winter: Europe Regional 3 - Winter Invitational
RLCS 2022-23 - Winter: Europe Regional 3 - Winter Invitational has come to an end. During the championship, which was held online from February 24 to 26, sixteen participants from Europe competed for a total prize pool of $100,000, as well as ranking points. Team Liquid became the winner of the tournament, which unexpectedly outplayed Karmine Corp in the grand final with a score of 4:3 (Mannfield (Night) - 1:2; Forbidden Temple - 2:1; DFH Stadium - 2:3; Utopia Coliseum (Dusk) - 4:3; Wasteland (Night) - 3:0; Neo Tokyo - 1:2; Champions Field - 3:1).
"Liquid" started very confidently in the competition, outplaying FUFAXDOP (3:0), Williams Resolve (3:2) and Team Vitality (3:2) to directly break into the quarterfinals.
Having made it to the playoffs, Team Liquid defeated Quadrant (4:3) and Gamers First (4:3), making it to the grand final. In the final match of the tournament, the team managed to overcome Karmine Corp (4:3) to become the winner of RLCS 2022-23 - Winter: Europe Regional 3 - Winter Invitational and earn a prize of $30,000.
Note that according to the results of the winter split, three teams scored an equal number of points. Now Quadrant, German Amigos and Gamers First have to play for the last ticket to the Rocket League Championship Series 2022-23 - Winter Split Major from the region.
