Gen.G Mobil1 Racing is the champion of Rocket League Championship Series 2022-23 - Fall Split Major

The Rocket League Championship Series 2022-23 - Fall Split Major has come to an end. As part of the competition, which took place from December 8 to 11 in Rotterdam at the Rotterdam Ahoy site, 16 participants (5 from North America, 5 from Europe, 2 from Oceania, 2 from Latin America, 1 each from the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East) competed for a total prize pool of $310,000 as well as ranking points. The tournament was won by the Gen.G Mobil1 Racing team, which turned out to be stronger than Moist Esports in the grand final with a score of 4:2.

The championship for the English team began with an excellent performance at the Swiss stage, where they won over PWR (3:0), Team Falcons (3:1) and FaZe Clan (3:0), losing only to Oxygen Esports (0:3).

Having made it to the playoffs of the championship, Allushin's wards first dealt with Team Liquid (4:3), and then again outplayed FaZe Clan (4:1) and advanced to the grand final.

In the final match of the Gen.G competition, Mobil1 Racing suffered a devastating loss on the first map, but then got two minimal wins and took the lead in the series. Following the opponent managed to catch up with the British and catch up, but the team managed to survive on the next two maps to secure a final victory with a score of 4:2.

  • 1st: Gen.G Mobil1 Racing - $100,000 + 32 points
  • 2nd place: Moist Esports - $60,000 + 24 points
  • 3rd-4th place: Team Secret and FaZe Clan — $25,500 + 18 points
  • 5th-8th place: Karmine Corp, Version1, Oxygen Esports and Team Liquid - $12,000 + 12 points
  • 9th-11th place: Spacestation Gaming, PWR and G2 Esports — $9,000 + 8 points
  • 12-14th place: Quadrant, Team Falcons and The Club — $6,000 + 6 points
  • 15-16th place: Pioneers and James Cheese - $3,000 + 4 points
