DeToNator is RLCS Champion 2021-22 - Spring: Asia-Pacific North Regional Event 2

The RLCS 2021-22 - Spring: Asia-Pacific North Regional Event 2 has come to an end. At the championship, which was held online from May 20 to 22, sixteen teams from Asia fought for a prize pool of $15,000, as well as precious rating points that participants need to qualify for the Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - Spring Split Major. The winner of the tournament was the DeToNator team, which beat Tokyo Verdy Esports with a score of 3:4 in a tense grand final; 4:1.

As part of the championship, DeToNator defeated Rocket Kickers (3:1), GracesBlaze Refine (3:0), AGELITE (4:3) and Tokyo Verdy Esports (4:3), making it to the grand final. In the decisive match, the team again defeated Tokyo Verdy Esports (3:4; 4:1), thus earning $4,500 and 401 points.

Thanks to this victory, the Japanese team became the leader of the regional table of the season, gaining a total of 751 points. Nevertheless, Tokyo Verdy Esports continues to qualify for a ticket to the Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - Spring Split Major, having the same number of points.

  • 2nd place: Tokyo Verdy Esports — $3,000 + 350 points.
  • 3rd place: AGELITE — $1,800 + 300 points.
  • 4th place: Team GanDerS — $1,500 + 250 points.
  • 5th-6th place: SHIROGANE and Xayfhers — $1,200 + 210 points.
  • 7th-8th place: BLAST and Method2Madness — $900 + 180 points.
  • 9th-12th place: Aloha, GracesBlaze Refine, True Parrots and NOR - 130 points.
  • 13th-16th place: Mai kagura, Inside Joke, Aqua and Rocket Kickers - 80 points.
