Tokyo Verdy Esports became the champion of RLCS 2021-22 - Spring: Asia-Pacific North Regional Event 1

The RLCS 2021-22 - Spring: Asia-Pacific North Regional Event 1 has come to an end. At the championship, which was held online from May 6 to 8, sixteen teams from the northern part of the Asia-Pacific region will compete for a prize pool of $15,000, as well as ranking points required to qualify for the Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - Spring Split Major. The winner of the tournament was the Tokyo Verdy Esports team, which outplayed DeToNator 4:1 in the final of the competition; 4:0.

The tournament for the future winner began with a victory over HMD (3:0), Hilltop Picnic (3:2) and Xayfhers (4:0). However, in the final of the upper bracket, the Japanese team lost to DeToNator (3:4) and fell into the lower bracket. Here, Tokyo Verdy Esports outplayed AGELITE (4:2) to advance to the grand final and take revenge on DeToNator (4:1; 4:0).
