FURIA Esports is the winner of RLCS 2021-22 - Winter: SAM Regional Event 3
/The RLCS 2021-22 - Winter: SAM Regional Event 3 has come to an end. At the championship, which was held online from February 25 to 27, sixteen teams from Latin America fought for a prize pool of $30,000, as well as RLCS rating points. The winner of the championship was the FURIA Esports team, which in the grand final was stronger than eRa Eternity with a score of 4:1 (2:3; 3:1; 2:1; 4:2; 2:1).
The tournament for the future winner started from the group stage, during which FURIA Esports won three victories over LeaveNoWitness (3:0), Leviatán (3:1) and Elevate (3:1). Thanks to these victories, the Brazilian team took the first place in their quartet, thus securing a place in the semi-finals of the upper bracket.
Here the Brazilian team outplayed KRÜ Esports (4:0), eRa Eternity (4:1) and eRa Eternity (4:1), thanks to which they earned $9,000.
Note that thanks to this victory, FURIA Esports managed to qualify for the Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - Winter Split Major, which will be held from March 23 to 27 in Los Angeles.
