Team Queso became the winner of RLCS 2021-22 - Winter: EU Regional Event 3
/The RLCS 2021-22 - Winter: EU Regional Event 3 has come to an end. At the championship, which was held online from February 25 to 27, 16 European teams fought for a prize pool of $100,000, as well as RLCS rating points. The winner of the tournament was Team Queso, which turned out to be stronger than Endpoint CeX in the grand final.
The tournament for the future winner started from a difficult group stage, during which Team Queso won only one victory over Team Vitality (3:2), losing to Guild Esports (2:3) and 00 Nation DNB (2:3) along the way. Nevertheless, the team managed to make it to the playoffs, where they cheered up to beat Williams Resolve (3:2), Karmine Corp (3:2), 00 Nation DNB (4:1), Evil Geniuses (4:3) and Dignitas (4:0), thus making it to the grand final. In the decisive match, Team Queso managed to defeat Endpoint CeX, thanks to which they earned $30,000.
Note that thanks to this victory, the team managed to qualify for the Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - Winter Split Major, which will be held from March 23 to March 27 in Los Angeles.
