Tokyo Verdy Esports became the champion of RLCS 2021-22 - Winter: APAC N Regional Event 2

The RLCS 2021-22 - Winter: APAC N Regional Event 2 has come to an end. At the championship, which was held online from February 4 to 6, 16 teams from the northern part of the Asia-Pacific region fought for a prize pool of $15,000, as well as rating points RLCS. The winner of the tournament was the Tokyo Verdy Esports team, which beat DeToNator in the grand final with a crushing score of 4:0 (4:2; 3:0; 2:1; 2:1).

The tournament for the future winner started from the group stage, during which Tokyo Verdy Esports got three wins over spider (3:0), Method2Madness (3:0) and SHIROGANE (3:0), thus getting a ticket to the upper bracket semi-finals. Here the Japanese team dealt with Xayfhers (4:0) and Nimmt55 (4:0) without any problems. In the final match of the championship, Tokyo Verdy Esports again showed itself in all its glory, defeating DeToNator with a score of 4:0.

  • 5th-6th place: Parabellum Esports and Xayfhers — $1,200 + 190 points.
  • 7th-8th place: BLAST and True Parrots — $900 + 160 points.
  • 9th-12th place: Method2Madness, GracesBlaze Refine, Team GanDerS and MOTI MOTI GAMING — 110 points.
  • 13th-16th place: RESOLUTE, Team Inherits, Aloha and spider - 60 points.
