
PUBG Nations Cup 2025 Returns with 24 Teams and Expanded Format
KRAFTON has officially announced the return of the PUBG Nations Cup (PNC) 2025, promising a bigger and more exciting tournament than ever. The fifth edition of the prestigious international competition will take place in late July at the Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul, South Korea, and will feature an expanded lineup of 24 national teams.
🌍 More Teams, More Action
The 2025 tournament marks the largest PNC to date, increasing the number of participating nations from 16 to 24. Among the returning teams are the top 16 rosters from PNC 2024, including defending champions South Korea and runner-up United States.Additionally, Denmark and India are set to rejoin the tournament after a break, while France, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Philippines, and Malaysia will make their PNC debut this year.
📈 Rising Popularity and Viewership
Last year’s edition, held at the KyungHee Grand Peace Hall, saw South Korea clinch victory in front of a home crowd, topping the United States and claiming the biggest share of a $548,932 USD prize pool. This included a base pool of $300,000, with the rest contributed through crowdfunding from PNC 2024 Skin sales (30%).
According to Esports Charts , PNC 2024 reached a peak of 510,997 viewers, making it the third most-watched PUBG esports event at the time.
