Welcome to EGamersWorld.
The second international tournament of the 2025 season — the Mid-Season Invitational 2025 — is heating up. On July 6, the second round of the Knockout Stage will come to an end.
The headline match of the round will be the clash between Bilibili Gaming and T1. The teams will battle it out for a spot in the Top 3.
In our betting tip, we’ll try to determine who among BLG and T1 will come out on top and face Gen.G in the next playoff round for a place in the Top 3.
Let’s go.
How the bookies view it: T1 favorite
Before we dive into the T1 vs Bilibili Gaming betting tip, let’s see who the bookmakers favor. In this matchup, it’s T1.
Bookmakers offer average odds of around 1.8 for a T1 win. Against a team like Bilibili Gaming, I wouldn’t call those odds a real advantage. It’s a full Bo3 series.
T1 form. What result can be expected from T1
We start our T1 vs BLG preview by analyzing T1’s current form.
T1 won the LCK Spring 2022, then followed it with three runner-up finishes: MSI, LCK Summer, and Worlds 2022.
The second-place curse carried into 2023. At the start of the year, Faker and co. finished second at LCK Spring 2023 and then ended up third at MSI 2023.
- T1 roster: Doran, Oner, Faker, Gumayusi, Keria.
LCK Summer 2023 was a real test for T1. They barely made playoffs, finishing 5th in the group stage with a 9-9 score.
There were issues with their main star — Faker. The legendary midlaner suffered a hand injury, which clearly affected T1’s performance. But Faker seemed back in shape later.
The Faker factor played its part. T1 defeated a strong opponent in Dplus and advanced to the next round, where they were chosen as opponents by KT Rolster.
Then came another tough test — KT Rolster again. T1 won the match 3-2.
In the match for playoff qualification, T1 faced Gen.G. They took a 2-1 lead but failed to close it out: Gen.G came back, with Chovy outperforming Faker.
In the grand final qualifier, T1 almost lost to KT Rolster after starting 2-0. Gumayusi saved them on game 5 with a clutch performance on Xayah.
Still, they couldn't win the final. T1 faced their long-time nemesis Gen.G and were crushed 0-3.
T1 opened Worlds 2023 against Liquid. Despite being clear favorites, the match was closer than expected: Liquid held out for 36 minutes and lost by just one kill. A midlane fight sealed the win for T1.
At 1-0, T1 ran into their kryptonite — Gen.G. T1 started well, but Gen.G adjusted the tempo and secured the win.
T1’s next opponent was Cloud9 — one of the most one-sided matches at Worlds. T1 demolished them.
After stomping Cloud9, T1 took on Bilibili Gaming and easily defeated the MSI 2023 runners-up 2-0.
In playoffs, T1 faced LNG. Scout, hailed as the best player of Worlds 2023, was silenced as T1 swept LNG 3-0.
In the Worlds 2023 semifinals, T1 faced title favorites JD Gaming. Despite JDG's reputation, T1 prevailed 3-1, reaching their sixth Worlds grand final — and won their fourth title, a record in League of Legends and esports history.
T1 started LCK Spring 2024 strong but faltered slightly, finishing third with a 15-3 record. In playoffs, they were shockingly swept 0-3 by Hanwha Life Esports. In the lower bracket, T1 beat DPlus KIA 3-0 and then took revenge on HLE 3-1, becoming Korea’s second MSI 2024 representative.
At MSI 2024, T1 earned their spot by finishing second in LCK Spring 2024. In the Play-In, they won two series 2-0 and entered the Bracket Stage. They opened with a tense 3-2 win over G2 Esports. In the Top 3 decider, they lost 1-3 to BLG, then beat Liquid 3-1. In a rematch with G2, they won cleanly 3-0. However, they lost again to BLG 1-3.
To participate in the Esports World Cup 2024, T1 paused their LCK Summer 2024 run (5-1 at the time).
In Riyadh, T1 won the Esports World Cup 2024 and $1,000,000, beating TOP Esports in the final.
T1 entered LCK Summer 2024 playoffs from 4th place with an 11-7 record — not ideal. They beat KT Rolster 3-1 but were then swept by HLE 0-3. They beat DPlus KIA again but lost another rematch with HLE 1-3, finishing Top 3.
At Worlds 2024, T1 qualified through LCK regionals, narrowly beating KT Rolster 3-2.
They lost their Worlds 2024 opener to Top Esports, then beat paiN Gaming and edged out BLG in a tough match for a 2-1 score. They defeated G2 Esports 2-0 to reach playoffs.
In the Worlds 2024 playoffs, T1 again defeated Top Esports 3-0. Next was Gen.G — T1’s nemesis — who they beat 3-1 in their most important match of the year. In the grand final, they faced BLG and secured the world title with a 3-2 win — becoming five-time Worlds champions.
T1 began the 2025 season at the Baron Group, taking 1st place confidently. Without Gumayusi, they went 4-1 in the group and qualified for the Play-In. There, they beat Nongshim RedForce 2-0 but surprisingly lost to HLE in the playoffs, finishing Top 6.
Their path to MSI 2025 was rocky — qualifying from 3rd place in Rounds 1-2 and then defeating KT Rolster and HLE to secure an MSI slot.
At MSI 2025, T1 started in Knockout Stage Round 1 vs CFO. As favorites, they won — but barely: 3-2.

Bilibili Gaming form. What result can be expected from BLG
We continue our betting tip on the BLG vs G2 match with an analysis of BLG’s form. The second-best team from China is the clear favorite here.
BLG burst into the Top 2 of the LPL and earned their MSI 2023 ticket. On the international stage, they shocked everyone by reaching the grand final, where they lost to JD Gaming.
Another key for BLG was their revamped 2023 roster — a top-tier squad.
- BLG roster: Bin, XUN, knight, Elk, ON.
After a phenomenal first half of the year, BLG maintained momentum. They were the first to reach LPL Summer 2023 playoffs and set a domestic record by finishing the group stage with just one loss.
They faced TES in their first playoff match and won confidently 3-1.
In the upper bracket final, BLG faced arch-rivals JD Gaming but lost 0-3.
Unlike spring, BLG looked less dominant in summer. They finished 3rd after losing 1-3 to LNG in the grand final qualifier.
At Worlds 2023, BLG’s first match was against KT Rolster — a long 45-minute game which they won.
Next came JD Gaming, where BLG lost again. However, they received a favorable matchup vs Fnatic and won, reaching 2-1.
They then faced T1 — not a good sign. T1 won, BLG dropped to the 2-2 pool.
In their final Swiss round match, BLG beat G2 Esports 2-1, eliminating Europe’s top team.
In playoffs, BLG faced Gen.G. After a 2-0 start, Gen.G evened the series 2-2. Game 5 went BLG’s way after punishing Chovy’s Akali multiple times.
But they couldn’t overcome WBG in the semifinal and missed out on the Worlds 2023 grand final.
At the 2023 Demacia Cup, BLG beat RNG 3-1, then NiP, and finally JDG to win the tournament.
BLG entered MSI 2024 as LPL Spring champions, having beaten TES 3-1 in the final. Their MSI opener vs PSG Talon was surprisingly tough — a 3-2 win. But then they convincingly beat T1.
They couldn’t beat Gen.G in the upper bracket (1-3) but eliminated T1 again 3-2 in the lower bracket final. They lost the final to Gen.G.
Later at Esports World Cup 2024, BLG lost to T1 in Round 1. Back in LPL Summer 2024, they topped Group B, then went 7-1 in Rumble Stage.
At Worlds 2024, BLG qualified as LPL Summer champions, sweeping WBG 3-0. They reached the grand final but again lost narrowly to T1, 2-3.
BLG started 2025 confidently, winning both group games and qualifying for playoffs early. However, a final match loss sent them to the lower bracket. There, they beat Weibo Gaming and TT Gaming but lost to TES, finishing Top 4.
At LPL 2025 Split 2, BLG won Group A and reached Top 4 in Rumble Stage. They made it to the grand final but lost to AL 1-3, entering the MSI 2025 Play-In.
Play-In was easy for BLG. They swept GAM Esports and G2 Esports 3-0 to reach the Knockout Stage. There, they dropped their first game of the tournament but beat MKOI 3-1.

Recent head-to-head: T1 edging it
T1 lead the head-to-head, winning 3 out of 5 matches.
Predicted result of the match T1 – Bilibili Gaming at MSI 2025
Logically, T1 should win this match. I agree with the bookmakers who rate them higher, but I believe BLG will win here.
T1 have had a poor season, and their MSI 2025 qualification feels like a miracle. Even in the last series against CFO — with all due respect — T1 looked weak.
I think they’re due for a trip to the lower bracket.
Final prediction: BLG win.
