Let me remind you that the only ticket to the First Stand Tournament, a new international event held under the auspices of Riot, is being played out at LEC Winter 2025. However, before that, you need to get to the LEC Winter playoffs, and this is not the easiest task.

KOI Form
We open the analysis of the match KOI – Heretics with an analysis of the game form of KOI. In this match they play as favorites with a coefficient of victory in the region of 1.6.
KOI has long been “inside” the LEC ecosystem and sometimes they make it to the main tournament, that is, the LEC, and sometimes they are eliminated from there. For example, last season KOI, in fact, was under the ascription MAD Lions. If we talk about KOI as a separate organization, then everything is quite modest there.

In the 2023 season, KOI participated in the LEC. They did not achieve any particular success. However, the roster KOI is quite combative, because the backbone of MAD Lions remains, and they once represented a pretty strong competitor for top-level G2 and Fnatic.
KOI had a good first week of LEC Winter 2025. They beat Fnatic and Vitality, but lost to Karmine Corp. They will open the second week against GiantX, and then play against BDS. The final match will be against SK.

Fiora (2 matches, 100% wins) and K'Sante (2 matches, 50% wins) appeared most often in the top for MAD Lions. Renekton (1 game, 100% wins) and Gnar (1 game and that was a loss) were also taken.
Sejuani is popular in the jungle (3 matches, 66% win rate), followed by Wukong with 2 appearances and 50% win rate, and then there was Maokai, who won his only match.
On the mid lane, Viktor (1-1) and Akali (1-1) have 2 matches each. Azir and Sylas won their matches.
Of the marksmen, Varus was the most frequently picked (3 matches, 66% win rate). Lucian was picked 2 times (1-1) and Sivir was picked once (1-0).
Thresh (1-1), Lulu (1-1) were the most frequently chosen heroes for the marksman. Nami and Ashe, who appeared once each, won their matches.
Heretics Form
We continue our review of the Heretics – KOI match with an analysis of Heretics’ game form. In this match, the “heretics” are playing as outsiders with a win odds of around 2.3.
Heretics have been part of the LEC structure since 2022. In their “debut” season, Team Heretics played on the TIR-2 stage, more specifically in Superliga Summer 2022 (with TOP-1), European Masters Summer 2022 (TOP-1) and Iberian Cup 2022, where they took TOP-2.
In 2023, Heretics became participants of the LEC series tournaments. The success was so-so: first, TOP-8 at LEC Winter 2023, and then eliminated by SK Gaming.
The situation only got worse in the spring: Heretics failed the group stage again, this time going 3-6 and not making it to the playoffs.
In the next round of the LEC draw, Team Heretics showed their best result of the partner team. They took the TOP-4 in LEC Summer 2023, losing to Fnatic in the battle for the TOP-3. Heretics took the TOP-4 and secured $5,512.

After a series of unsuccessful performances last year, Heretics changed their roster significantly, signing top European players. Let's see how they will be able to compete with the strongest representatives of the region.
The group stage of LEC Winter 2024 was a bit of a bummer. The team started off quite brightly, but later dropped to a 4-5 score.
After making it to the playoffs, Heretics faced BDS, the best team in the LEC Winter 2024 group stage. The French club fully justified their status, winning 2-0, and Heretics went to the lower bracket.
They didn't manage to play for long in the LEC Winter 2024 playoffs. Heretics lost to SK Gaming with a score of 1-2 in the very first match of the main stage, leaving the championship at the TOP-8 stage.
Following the regular season of LEC Spring 2024, Heretics took the TOP-4. In the first round of the playoffs, Heretics met BDS and rather ingloriously fell to the lower bracket after a 0-2 defeat. Already in the match for life in the first round, they played against SK Gaming, where they won with a score of 2-1 and it was quite difficult. Then there was a duel with Fnatic, which ended with a score of 2-3 in favor of the “orange”, and Heretics missed the chance to show themselves at the Mid-Season Invitational 2024.
Heretics had a rough time getting to the LEC Summe 2024 Playoffs, finishing 6th with a 3-6 record.
Heretics started the LEC Summer 2024 playoffs with a rather uninspired loss to SK Gaming. After that, an equally unimpressive performance against GiantX and a drop to the TOP-7.
Heretics went 2-1 in week one of LEC Winter 2025. They have BDS, GX, and Karmine Corp on their schedule for week two.
