Despite their popularity in Europe, Karmine Corp are newcomers to the LEC. The French team has previously played on the local scene, competing against compatriots, and also played at various TIR-2 events within the LEC ecosystem.

Karmine Corp started with LFL Spring 2023 and started off horribly. At the local league the team played 7-11 in the group stage, which was not even enough to qualify for the play-offs.
Things improved significantly from there and Karmine Corp lifted the championship trophy over their heads twice in a row. The first time at LFL Summer 2023 and the second time at EMEA Masters Summer 2023. Incidentally, Masters Karmine Corp have won 4 times in the team's history and that is a significant statistic.
The last tournament of last season was the Coup De France 2024 championship. Either there was no priority for the event, or they were not in shape at all, but KC took the top 8 there.

Karmine Corp joined the LEC by purchasing a slot from Astralis. The Danish club, which did not achieve results last season, decided to sell its place in the prestigious league. Whether they did the right thing - we will find out later.
In the first match of LEC Winter 2024 Karmine Corp will play against Fnatic. In that match I believe in the victory of Karmine. After that - the game against G2 Esports and there Karmine Corp will be much more difficult. However, with Fnatic everything turned out to be the opposite: KC won, and with G2 Esports - everything is logical, an easy victory for the "samurai".
Karmine Corp officially became the worst team of LEC Winter 2024 ahead of time. Before Long Sogpeg of their last match in the regular season, KC have a stat line of 1-7, with their only win coming in week 3 against SK Gaming. The only treat was the prestige point that Karmine Corp got in their last group stage match.

In the first round of play-offs Karmine Corp confidently outplayed Team Vitality, and went on to beat KOI with a similar win. Against G2 it was a very different situation and resulted in a 1-3 defeat. KOI barely defeated Fnatic 3-2 in the bottom set, but in the grand finals something happened: Karmine Corp literally destroyed G2, beating the best team in Europe 3-0, leaving the "samurai" no chance.
At First Stand 2025, Karmine Corp did not play their best game. The LEC champions played 1-3, but thanks to coincidence and map difference, they qualified for the play-offs. In the grand final match they played a tough bo5 against CFO and came out stronger. In the grand finals LEC champions Karmine Corp lost to HLE with the score 1-3.
Karmine Corp won the group stage of LEC Spring 2025 finishing 8-1. In the first play-offs match, Ledge and KOI were very unexpected, losing the match with a score of 2-3. After being in the bottom set of the play-offs, Heretics won, and then rolled Fnatic, securing their place in the top 3. However, they failed to move further into the top 3, KOI prevented them from doing so. As a result, the champions of LEC Spring 2025 took the 3rd place.
At LEC Summer 2025 Karmine Corp played in Basket A, where they finished second. At the LEC Summer 2025 play-offs, they started with a match against G2 Esports, where they were weaker, losing 1-3.
Karmine Corp most popular champions
Gragas (3 matches, 100% wins) and also Kennen (3 matches, 66% wins) remain the most popular and successful champions on the top line.
Wukong (6 games, 33% wins) and Sejuani (4 matches, 100% wins) play in the forest.
The centre line is played with Ahri (4 matches, 0% wins), Tristana (3 matches, 100% wins) and Syndra (3 matches, 100% wins).
The ADC position is most often occupied by Lucian (4 matches. 50% wins), Aphelios (4 matches, 75% wins).
Nami (3 games, 66% wins), Thresh (3 matches, 100% wins) are often paired with shooters.
Vitality form: What to expect from Vitality
Vitality played at LEC Spring 2024. This was Vitality's best split where they were able to make it to the top 3. However, that was good enough for exactly nothing: just top 3.
The last tournament last season for Vitality was LEC Summer 2023. And it was a total fiasco: Vitality had their worst performance of the year, going 1-8 in the regular season and finishing the split in the top 10.

The team has a pretty strong lineup, but the realisation is Vitality's kryptonite.
In the first match of LEC Winter 2024, Team Vitality will play against GIANTX, where I see problems for the Bees. I think EXCEL's peppy core will give Vitality a boost. And so it happened. And two more defeats later, against Fnatic and Team BDS.
Vitality were actually pleasantly surprised. After Long Sogpeg 0-3, the "bees" managed to comeback to score 4-5, thus making it to the next stage of the tournament.
In the first round of the LEC Winter 2024 play-offs Vitality played against SK Gaming. Surprisingly, the French were very convincing and closed the series with a score of 2-0. However, things were not so rosy after that, as Vitality played a derby against BDS, which ended with a very convincing victory of the latter. The next match was the last one for Vitality in LEC Winter 2024. They played it against MAD Lions KOI and lost 0-2.
At the end of LEC Winter 2025 Vitality were ranked in the top 6. After 5 weeks of matches Vitality are on the 6th position with a score 3-4, but there is still a match against Karmine Corp. ahead.
LEC Spring 2025 was virtually identical. Vitality played the group stage and then the top 8 in the end.
The group stage of the summer split, aka LEC Summer 2025, went "on the brink." They finished top-4 in Group A, advancing to the first round of the lower grid play-offs. In the first round of the main stage of LEC Summer 2025, Vitality faced Heretics, where they unexpectedly came out stronger, winning the match 3-1.
Vitality most popular champions
The most frequent guest on the top line is Jax (2 matches, 100% wins). Also picked were KSante, Gnar, Gwen and Ornn, Renekton and Gragas. Ornn and Renekton lost their matches, not quite hitting the season 13 meta.
Bo predominantly played as Vi. One of the most meta characters of the season appeared in spades 4 times and won all his games. There was also Sejuani and Maokai (2 games and 1 win each).
On the centre line, Azir was the favourite character (3 games, 100% wins). The Croatian also played Ryze, Syndra, Cassiopeia, Tristana, LeBlanc and Taliyah. Only Tristana and LeBlanc lost.
Of the shooters, Zeri (3 games, 66% wins), Ezreal (2 matches, 100% wins), Varus (2 games, 100% wins) appeared most often. Caitlyn and Sivir peaked once each: the former won her game and the latter lost.
Of the supporting characters, Yummi (3 games, 33% wins), Ashe (2 games, 100% wins) played three times. Leona, Braum, Nami and Lux won once each.
