Welcome to EGamersWorld.
The group stage matches of LCK Summer 2024 are heating up. We have two weeks of matches left to watch, which means that every next match is more and more important.
The HLE vs BRION matches are also gaining in importance. Even though the latter are no longer in contention for the LCK Summer 2024 play-offs, this does not mean that they can be disregarded. KT Rolster has already checked it out.
We're trying to figure out which of the HLE - BRION pair will be stronger and earn important points, and who will have to resign themselves to defeat and, if they lose to HLE, miss out on an important win.
Let's go.

Let's open the HLE vs BRION match with an analysis of HLE's form. In this match, they play the first number one with odds to win at around 1.1.
HLE, being a solid mid-major, are getting to the late stages of the regular split. And it started to happen only in 2023. Before that, in the 2022 season, HLE were the worst team in the race, twice finishing in the top 10 in regular splits.
They managed to improve by 2023, after a major Reshuffle. Two reigning world champions joined the HLE roster, which strengthened the club considerably.
- HLE roster: Doran, Peanut, Zeka, Viper, Delight.
With the addition of Zeka and Kingen to the HLE lineup, it was clearly more vigorous. So much so that they made it to the top 4 of LCK Spring 2023. The latest addition to HLE is Grizzly, a jungler who got promoted from the academic roster.
It seems to be working out pretty well. HLE finished in the top 3 in the regular season, which with teams like Dplus, T1 and other top teams is pretty good.
In the first play-offs match HLE warmed up against DRX. Nominally reigning world champions couldn't do anything against their visions and HLE easily closed the match with the score 3-0.
Then the situation was not so rosy: HLE ran into Gen.G and fell 0-3. The favour went to the bottom set of play-offs, but it did not save them for long.
Hanwha Life Esports faced KT Rolster in the first match of the last chance grid. The pressure was too hard and HLE was washed away: 0-3 and a play-offs exit, and at the same time not a pass to Worlds 2023.
They tried to make it to the Worlds in the regional finals, but again failed. LCK finished the final tournament of the season in the top 3, having failed to use either of the two attempts to qualify for the Worlds: they lost first to KT Rolster with a 1-3 score and then to Ledge or DPlus KIA with the same score.
Hanwha Life Esports finished the LCK Spring 2024 season in the top 3. The team once again fell one series short of advancing to the International LAN tournament.
Before Long Sogpeg Week 8, Hanwha Life Esports is 11-3 and actually has a slot in the playoffs.

BRION Form
We continue our analysis of the BRION vs HLE match with an analysis of BRION's form. In this match they play as a clear outsider with win odds around 7.
BRION have been on the competitive scene of League of Legends for a long time, but they have not been able to collect results. Speaking specifically about LCK, they have been playing there since 2021.
In the 2021 season, the team had two back-to-back losses: at LCK Spring they were in the top 10, and at LCK Summer they were in the top 9. Then came 2022, but the performance didn't change at all: first top 6 at LCK Spring 2022, then top 9 at LCK Summer 2022.
Last season BRION strengthened a little bit, but they did. They finished top 8 at LCK Spring 2023 and top 8 at LCK Summer 2023.
- BRION roster: Morgan, GIDEON, Karis, Envyy, Effort.
The "veteran" of BRION is Karis. He has been playing in the team since last June.
LCK Spring 2024 Brion finished in their repertoire. The team finished 10th in the final standings with 3 wins and 15 losses.
BRION finished early at LCK Summer 2024. Though they still have matches left on the schedule before Long Sogpeg Week 8, though they have a 2-12 score.
BRION's most popular champions
KSante (4 matches, 75% wins), Jax (2 matches, 0% wins), and Quinn (2 matches, 50% wins) inhabit the top line.

Hanwha Life Esports - BRION Head-to-head history
This will be the 3rd series between HLE and BRION in 2024. HLE have previously won 2 out of 2 matches without losing a match.
Predicted result of BRION vs HLE at LCK Summer 2024
BRION is a fun team. For some reason they start playing after getting knocked out of the tournament, and their match against KT Rolster is proof of that. I don't think this trick will work against HLE, as they are a different team and should close this match with 2-0, but you can try to get +1.5 on BRION on live betting.
Bottom line: HLE wins 2-0.
