Welcome to EGamersWorld.
We continue our look at LCK Season 2025 Round 1-2. This is an important part of the League of Legends competitive ecosystem, as the tournament will determine the 3 participants of Worlds 2025. In addition, 6 teams will play for a slot at the Mid-Season Invitational 2025.
However, it's still a long way off. First there is the group stage and the second game day, which will be opened by Nongshim RedForce and BRION.
We are trying to find out who of the pair Nongshim RedForce - BRION will be stronger and earn extremely important points for themselves.
Let's go.
Nongshim RedForce uniform
Let's open the analysis of the match Nongshim RedForce vs BRION with an analysis of Nongshim RedForce's form. In this match they play as favourites with odds to win at around 1.7.
Nongshim Red Force is a team with no stars from heaven. They are a solid mid-table team in Korea, or rather one of the worst teams in the best region.
In the arena LCK Nongshim RedForce have been in the LCK Nongshim arena since 2021. It also became the best in the not yet long history of this particular tag: at that time Nongshim RedForce managed to take Top 6 at LCK Spring 2021 and Top 4 at LCK Summer 2021, and there was also Top 3 at Regional Finals, but it was not enough to pass to Worlds.
Things started to get worse in 2022. Nongshim RedForce finished top-8 at both LCK Spring 2022 and LCK Summer 2022.
In the 13 competition season, Nongshim RedForce can be called the worst team in the region. At LCK Spring 2023 the team took the last, 10th place, and at LCK Summer 2023 they were not far away - TOP-9.
- Nongshim RedForce roster: Kingen, Sylvie, Fisher, Jiwoo, Lehends.
The only member of Nongshim RedForce from last season is Jiwoo. The remaining 4 players are new to the team.
Nongshim RedForce will play against DRX in the first match. In that match I expect Nongshim RedForce to win. Next will be a game against Gen.G, where RedForce has no chance not only to win, but to take at least a map.
At LCK Spring 2024 Nongshim RedForce were ranked in the top 8. The LCK 2024 summer split was no better than the spring one: the final top 8 and the change of the roster in the off-season.
The 2025 season, like most title teams in the region, started with an appearance at LCK Cup 2025. They played in the Elder Group, where they finished in last place, but made it to the Play-In. At the Play-In Long Sogpeg started with a win over BRION, lost to T1 in the next round, but beat DRX 3-1 in the lower grid match. On the Long Sogpeg play-offs, however, they pleasantly surprised by shutting out KT Rolster 3-0. Next up was a match against DPlus KIA, and a 1-3 loss. In the lower grid match they gave Gen.G a fight, where they took 2 maps, but it was not enough and as a result - TOP-4.

BRION Form
Let's continue the analysis of BRION vs Nongshim RedForce match with the analysis of BRION's form. In this match they play in Underpassdog status with odds to win at around 2.5.
BRION have been on the competitive scene of League of Legends for a long time, but they have not been able to collect results. Speaking specifically about LCK, they have been playing there since 2021.
In the 2021 season, the team had two back-to-back losses: at LCK Spring they were in the top 10, and at LCK Summer they were in the top 9. Next was 2022, but the performance did not change at all: first TOP 6 at LCK Spring 2022, then TOP 9 at LCK Summer 2022.
Last season BRION strengthened a bit, but not much. They finished top 8 at LCK Spring 2023 and top 8 at LCK Summer 2023.
- BRION roster: Morgan, GIDEON, Karis, Envyy, Effort.
The "veteran" of BRION is Karis. He has been playing in the team since last June.
LCK Spring 2024 Brion finished in their repertoire. The team finished 10th in the final standings with 3 wins and 15 losses.
BRION dropped out of the race for the LCK Summer 2024 play-offs early. The result was a similar performance - 10th place.
LCK Cup 2025 could have been the "starting point" for BRION's ascension as a title team, but it didn't work out. Final Top 8.

History of head-to-head meetings between Nongshim RedForce and BRION
Since the spring of 2024, the teams have played 5 matches and BRION has never come out.
Predicted result of the match BRION - Nongshim RedForce at LCK Season 2025 Round 1-2
In this match, my bet is on Nongshim RedForce. I don't believe that BRION has managed to strengthen their position so much on the local scene and that they will be able to take the series from Nongshim RedForce, who have been beating them for over a year now.
Bottom line: a win for Nongshim RedForce.
