The grand finale between Liquid and Cloud9 was held in Bo5 format and was full - the teams played on five maps. Ultimately, Liquid defeated their opponents with a score of 3-2 and earned a major cash prize of $100,000. Thanks to his labors, Liquid were honored to receive an invite to the 2019 World Championship.

Cloud9 earned 100 league points and ranked second in the world ranking. Thanks to this, the American team will also receive a direct invitation to the League of Legends World Championship.

The LCS Summer 2019 total prize pool of $200,000 was distributed as follows:

1st place: Team Liquid - $ 100,000
2nd place: Cloud9 - $ 50,000
3rd place: Counter Logic Gaming - $ 25,000
4th place: Clutch Gaming - $ 25,000

For Team Liquid, winning the LCS is a common thing. In the spring split, the Americans also won 3–2 and received an invite to the Mid-Season Invitational 2019. At MSI 2019, they performed well and managed to reach the finals, where they were defeated in an unequal battle with G2 Esports. The latter beat Liquid 3-0.
