Rumors: Worlds 2021 could take place in Iceland
According to some sources, after being forced to move Worlds 2021 from China to Europe, Riot Games is considering Iceland as the first option. Reykjavik has already hosted the Mid-Season Invitational this year, so the choice of location is becoming quite obvious.
We will remind that earlier Riot Games published a statement, which said that they were forced to transfer Worlds 2021 to Europe. Previously, the event was planned to be held in 5 cities in China. This decision is due to travel restrictions and measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19, which have become much harsher than they were last year.
