Riot Games announced on Twitter that the matches of the final stage of LEC Summer 2021 will be held in LAN format. The venue will be the organizers' studio in Berlin.

At the moment, the organizers of the European League of Legends League are in the process of studying local laws, thanks to which it will be possible to authorize the LAN-finals. Riot Games did not say whether they will be able to let viewers into the stands or whether the LAN finals will be held in a closed format. Instead, the organizers invited all League of Legends fans to a pre-show that Riot Games thinks they won't want to miss.

In March 2020, the LoL European Championship is taking place online. In the middle of LEC Summer 2021, the league organizers relaxed their precautions a bit and allowed three games out of six on stage. Such permission was issued. as all the organizers had time to prepare for the arrival of the teams to the championship and to ensure safety for their health.
