Riot Games' esports director, Maximilian Peter Schmidt, confirmed on Twitter that Akshan will not be available at the upcoming Worlds 2021.

Recall that this practice has already been used more than once by the developers of the game and in the past Worlds were not available to Yone and Samira, and Gwen and Viego were able to fall into the hands of professionals only during the summer split of this year.

Most often, such decisions are explained by the need to refine the champion, fix his mistakes and correct balancing for the pro leagues, but in this case it can take much longer, since at the moment Akshan has the lowest win rate in the game at 44.15%.
