In incredible news, T1 has officially announced that Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyeong is leaving the team after seven years together. For the 23-year-old AD Carry, this marks the end of an era: with T1 he won three consecutive World Championships and one LCK title. His departure is as impactful as Zeus leaving last year, and the breakup of the Gumayusi and Keria duo is a real blow for fans.

This season was not easy for him. Early in the year he was temporarily replaced by Smash, and it took an intervention from T1’s CEO to return him to the starting lineup. After coming back, Gumayusi once again proved that he is one of the best ADCs in the world, especially at Worlds 2025.

His exit comes at a time of uncertainty within the team. The contracts of Doran and Zeus are also close to expiring, while Oner, Faker, and Keria remain tied to T1 at least until 2026 (with Faker contracted through 2029).

Gumayusi leaves the organization as a three-time world champion whose T1 career began in 2020. He went from rotating with Teddy to competing in MSI, Worlds, and multiple LCK finals. Now he is ready to begin a new chapter in his career, while T1 prepares to rebuild for the 2026 season. Where Gumayusi will go next remains unknown, so stay tuned for updates.
