The match between T1 and Hanwha Life Esports has just ended in Round 5 of the LCK Road to MSI. Despite HLE being the favorites — T1 hadn’t managed to beat them for almost a year after Zeus left — everything changed today.

T1 looked phenomenal and swept HLE 3:0, securing the second LCK slot at MSI 2025. Gen.G Esports were the first to qualify for the tournament. Both teams — Gen.G and T1 — have also earned direct invitations to the Esports World Cup 2025.

It’s worth noting that thanks to HLE’s victory at the First Stand, both Korean teams will begin MSI 2025 from the second stage of the playoffs. So, a grand final between two LCK representatives is a very real possibility. And remember — the winner of MSI 2025 will secure a spot at the biggest event of the year: Worlds 2025.
