Team Aze will perform at Mid-Season Invitational 2022

The LLA Opening 2022 has come to an end. At the championship, which was held from January 29 to April 16 in a mixed format, eight teams from Latin America fought for a prize pool of $53,500, as well as a ticket to the Mid-Season Invitational 2022. Team Aze, which turned out to be stronger than Estral Esports in the grand final with a score of 3:2.

The tournament for the future winner began with a crumpled performance in the group stage, during which Team Aze got nine wins and also lost five matches.

Nevertheless, the Latin American team made it to the playoffs, where they beat Infinity (3:0) and Estral Esports (3:1) in turn, thus making it to the grand final. In the decisive match, Team Aze again beat Estral Esports (3:2) to get the right to represent their region at the upcoming Mid-Season Invitational 2022.

The current line-up of the Mid-Season Invitational 2022 is as follows: G2 Esports, T1, Team Aze, ORDER, DetonatioN FocusMe and İstanbul Wildcats.

  • 1st place: Team Aze — $30,000 + slot at the Mid-Season Invitational 2022.
  • 2nd place: Estral Esports - $15,000.
  • 3rd place: Rainbow7 — $5,000.
  • 4th place: Isurus - $3,500.
  • 5th place: Infinity.
  • 6th place: XTEN Esports.
  • 7th place: All Knights.
  • 8th place: Globant Emerald Team.
