Team Liquid is the 4th team of the world ranking. Although expectations for the guys were high at The International 2023, they managed to get only to the 5th-6th place. After that Zai takes a temporary break from the competitive scene and 33 takes his place. ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 is well held, taking the bronze medal. Like their arch-rivals have received a direct invite to all upcoming tournaments.
Aurora are Southeast Asia's new-look roster. The lineup features 23, Armel, Jabz, Q and Oli. Basically it's the former Talon Esports with a new mid. The DreamLeague Season 22 closed qualifications were extremely successful, earning them the only slot within the region. But the closed qualifications for ESL One Birmingham 2024 were much more disappointing. Having failed to win a single match, they went to rest from the 8th place.
Aurora look too weak compared to the rest of the teams. I don't think there's any way they can climb out of the hole.
