We continue to get acquainted with the participants of the first DPC-cycle 2021/22 in Southeast Asia. Now it's time to learn a little more about Execration and Motivate.Trust Gaming.
Execration - guests of the upper division, who once went to the Major in Kiev. The result was not achieved there, which was expected.
Motivate.Trust Gaming are the newcomers to the top division who came here after a successful performance in the second league. In achievements, participation in TIR-2/3 local tournaments in Southeast Asia, which is not very prestigious.
We are trying to figure out who will be stronger here and will start their way in the DPC race with a victory.
Execration Form
Perhaps, it is worth starting the analysis with the "owners" of the Execration field - the team that has been playing in the upper division for the third time. At the same time, the team lacking stars from the sky.
Execration, like almost all teams in the world, made several replacements at once after the end of The International 10. In general, the roster looks capable, but nothing more.
Execration Roster
There are no particularly remarkable performers here. All of them are not bad, but BOOM will not be able to distinguish someone, for example, BOOM.

- Lose to Yangon Galacticos 0-2
- Draw with OB Esports x Neon 1-1
- Lose at Crocodile 0-2
- Lose at Sparking Arrow Gaming 0-2
- Lose from OB Esports x Neon 0-2
Then you ask yourself: what about Execration? They lull the vigilance of their DPC competitors, leak matches, or just play disgustingly.
Awkward performances at local tournaments have never been a decisive factor, but there is something to think about, and that's for sure.
Execration Heroes
Most played Execration heroes in patch 7.30: Lina (2 matches, 100% win), Mars (2 matches, 100% win), Dark Seer (1 match, 100% win).
These are the same characters and the most successful for Execration.
Motivate.Trust Gaming Form
Moving on to the "guests" of the upcoming match, namely Motivate.Trust Gaming, who were making a stir in the lower divisions and now making their way to the upper division. They managed to get through - it means already deservedly.
And if we compare MTG with Execration in terms of personnel, then the former, in my understanding, have a huge advantage. MTG has headliners that stand out.
Motivate.Trust Gaming Roster
- JaCkky
- Fearless
- Masaros
- Q
- Boombui
Very powerful Thais like Masaros and Fearless gathered here, where the former managed to play for Fnatic, and the latter has long been promising in the TIR-2 scene. There is also JaCkky, who played T1 before 23savage arrived.
Motivate.Trust Gaming latest matches
- Draw with Nigma Galaxy 1-1
- Defeat Yangon Galacticos 2-1
- Lose to Omega Esports 0-2
- Lose at BOOM 0-2
- Defeat against Polaris Esports by the score 0-2
Even the seemingly eminent line-up does not help MTG feel confident at TIR-2/3 events. It's hard to imagine what will happen in the top division of the DPC.
Heroes of Motivate.Trust Gaming
Most played MTG heroes in patch 7.30: Lion (37 matches, 62% win), Mars (33 matches, 60% win), Storm Spirit (25 matches, 64% win).
Most successful MTG heroes in patch 7.30: Batrider (4 matches, 100% win), Slardar (3 matches, 100% win), Queen of Pain (3 matches, 100% win).
History of personal confrontations
The last match of the team was played on November 1 of this year as part of BTS Pro Series Season 9. Then Motivate celebrated a clear victory. Trust Gaming.
The outcome of the duel
Considering Execration's recent performance and their not-so-successful reshuffle, they seem to have less chances in this match. On the other hand, there is no 100% certainty in Motivate.Trust Gaming either. For maximum insurance, it will not be superfluous to take a head start on MTG, since they will probably draw one card.
Bottom line: +1.5 on MTG.
