Welcome to all esports and Dota 2 fans! From November 25 to December 7, 2025, one of the biggest tournaments of the autumn–winter part of the season — BLAST Slam V is taking place. Twelve teams will compete for the championship title and a prize pool of 1 million dollars. Today, we highlight one of the matches of the opening day, Team Falcons vs HEROIC, which promises to be very exciting. After Pinnacle, Falcons placed in the TOP-6 at ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, and then they began to dominate. In 2024, they won three qualifiers: BB Dacha, DreamLeague Season 22, and ESL One Birmingham in their MENA region.
Immediately before participating in DL Season 22, Falcons became BB Dacha champions, earning $400,000.
Then Falcons competed at DreamLeague Season 22. They showed the highest level of play and claimed another trophy, defeating BB in the grand final 3-0. They also reached the Elite League final but could not win there: Xtreme Gaming proved stronger and won 3-1.
At ESL One Birmingham 2024, Falcons topped Group A in the group stage. However, in the first round of the playoffs, they lost to Tundra 1-2. In the lower bracket, Falcons made a comeback against Team Liquid after losing the first map. Later, the Saudi Arabian club managed to win the tournament, defeating BB Team in the grand final.
Falcons then continued their winning streak: they won DreamLeague Season 23 and FISSURE Universe: Ep. 3, but “failed” at The International 2024, finishing in the TOP-4. At the same time, they became one of the few top teams to retain their roster after The International 2024.
In the first group stage of DreamLeague Season 24, they advanced confidently, becoming the best team in Group B with a 5-2-0 record. But the second part of the group stage was much more difficult: as of the penultimate game day, November 6, their score was 3-2, which did not guarantee a playoff spot. However, they advanced, and there again Falcons’ classic performance happened: a path to the grand final and a 3-1 victory over BB Team.
The group stage of BLAST Slam I went poorly: 2-2. But based on personal match results in Group A, they took the TOP-4, which allowed them to reach the first round of playoffs. After winning the opening match of the main stage against OG, they lost in the next round and finished the tournament in the TOP-8.
The 2025 season for Falcons was somewhat weaker than the previous one, but the team still demonstrated a stable level of play. The team placed 2nd at Fissure Playground and 3rd-4th at BLAST Slam II.
At DreamLeague Season 25, Falcons finished the first group stage with a 4-2-1 record. In Group Stage 2, the team performed slightly worse with a 3-4 record, finishing 5th in the tournament.
At PGL Wallachia Season 3, Team Falcons performed at the expected level, finishing in 2nd place.
After a small mid-season slump, the team returned to the top and pleased fans with strong performances at BLAST Slam III and Esports World Cup 2025, where they finished 2nd, and won FISSURE Universe: Episode 6.
At The International 2025, Team Falcons are playing very well. The team finished the Group Stage with a 3-2 record, and in the Elimination Stage, they defeated Team Spirit 2-0, further improving their form. In the playoffs, the team had no equals and advanced through the upper bracket all the way to the tournament championship.
At BLAST Slam IV, the team also played well, taking 2nd place at the tournament.

DreamLeague Season 23 was a marked improvement, with HEROIC advancing to the playoffs. After a tiebreaker win over Team Liquid (2-1), they couldn’t progress much further and ultimately finished Top 8.
HEROIC followed up with appearances at Riyadh Masters 2024 and Elite League Season 2, finishing Top 14 and Top 11, respectively. Surprisingly, their biggest achievement came when they won PGL Wallachia Season 2, defeating Falcons in a shocking grand final.
Later, HEROIC played at DreamLeague Season 24, performing worse than before — Top 14. This downward trend continued at BLAST Slam 1, where they finished Top 8.
In 2025, Team Heroic started with qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 25 and Esl One Raleigh 2025, which they successfully won. After that, they played in several Tier-1 tournaments with mediocre success. So far, the main achievement of HEROIC in 2025 is 7-8 FISSURE PLAYGROUND 1.
At PGL Wallachia Season 5, HEROIC delivered an average result, finishing in 9th-11th place.
At The International 2025, HEROIC advanced through the regional qualifiers, where they defeated Edge in the Grand Final.
Despite an unsuccessful start with 0-2 losses, PARIVISION and NAVI, HEROIC managed to regroup and deliver a winning streak. In the following matches, the team defeated BOOM, Wildcard, and Tundra Esports 2-0, and in the Elimination Stage, they beat Yakutou Brothers 2-0 and qualified for the playoffs of The International 2025.
In the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals, HEROIC played against PARIVISION and lost 0-2. In the Lower Bracket Round 1, they defeated Tundra Esports 2-0; however, in the next round, they lost to BB Team and were eliminated from the tournament, finishing 5th-6th — which is a very good result for the team.
