The Gaimin Gladiators are the 1st team in the world rankings. DPC finished the first round in 2nd place, leaving out Team Liquid. The Lima Major finished in 1st place, having confidently beaten Liquid in the Grand Final 3-0, although TL had a replacement at the time. By the same token, in the second round of the DPC GG they yield the leading position to Liquid, incidentally giving way to Tundra as well. 3rd place. A similar situation by the previous Major overtook us at the Dreamleague, where in a persistent Grand Final GG beat Liquid 3-2. At the Berlin Major the same situation awaited us. Liquid GG Grandfinal, from which GG emerge victorious. DPC had a rest in the 3rd round, but that didn't stop them from taking the 2nd place by the end of it.
Beastcoast is the 16th team in the world ranking. The organization has no problems at all with DPC. In their first two rounds in South America they take the 1st place, adding more and more points to their bankroll. But in big tournaments they have a bit of a problem. The Lima Major was a complete failure. The team managed to take only 9th-12th place. In comparison, the DreamLeague was slightly better. They occupied a deserved 6th place. On the Berlin Major unfortunately failed to show anything, finishing the tournament in 13th-14th place. A classic result showed in the 3rd round of the DPC, taking 2nd place.
Frankly speaking bc in this tournament do not look in the best shape. GG were much more confident. Anything can happen to SA team of course, but I'm leaning more towards the favourite to win.
