Evil Geniuses is the 10th team in the world rankings. Both DPC rounds only manage to finish in 2nd place, as there is absolutely no way to beat beastcoast, but the team is obviously stronger than bc, given the results of the Lima Major. EG managed to take the 5th-6th position there, though if they hadn't made a stupid mistake, they could have got higher. Nevertheless, the result is still decent. Dreamleague Season 19 was slightly worse, ending up in 7th place.
Team Aster was the 11th team in the world ranking. They finished the first DPC round in the Chinese region in 2nd place, yielding the 1st place to PSG.LGD. In the Lima Major, they didn't show much confidence and as a result ended up in the 7th-8th place. The team's Dreamleague Season 19 is not going well at all. They played frankly poorly and finished the tournament in 11th-12th place. In the second DPC round, the team managed to take only 4th place and hardly qualified for the event. Will be playing with a replacement in the form of Sumail instead of Ori.
EG steadily drop the first card and destroy on the second with opponents of any level. I see no reason not to do so here as well.
