Alexander "Immersion" Khmelevsky is one of the most promising representatives of the CIS region in the place of soft support. In a short time, Immersion managed to play for almost all the TOP teams of the CIS. Introducing Immersion's journey as an e-sports player.
Carier start
Immersion began his path to enter the TIR-1 stage long before he entered the professional organisation. From early childhood, Alexander had a love for computer games and devoted a lot of time to them. It is not surprising that later they became the real work for him.
The first club that Immersion played for was CoM18Anji. The player was there for only one month. In May 2018, he moved to the Slozhniy memas mix, with which he won the Russian Esports Championship 2018. After playing for Slozhniy memas for a few more months, the player moved to ESPADA.
With the ESPADA organisation, Immersion performed well in the qualifiers for The International 2018, but stopped one step short of making it to this year's main tournament. Later on, Immersion and the team participated in all other qualifications but did not succeed anywhere. The team participated in several TIR-3 tournaments, but couldn't win any of them.
Immersion stopped being part of the team in November 2018. He went to an inactive, after which he became a Gambit Esports player in December 2018.
Gambit Esports and first success
After becoming a Gambit player in December 2018, the player has significantly improved his skill. Already in January 2019, he and his team won the WePlay! Dota 2 Winter Madness and finished second in The Bucharest Minor the same month. In February 2019, he and his team became the champions of the WePlay! Dota 2 Valentine Madness. In the same month, Immersion with Gambit took 2nd place at ESL One Katowice 2019 and 5-8th place at WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Radiant.
In March 2019, the team stays at the 2nd line of the StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 1. After playing several more TIR-2/3 tournaments, the team wins the qualification for the EPICENTER Major 2019.
In the Championship itself, Immersion and the team miss a victory to go straight to TI9. The team stays in 7-8th place. This crippled Gambit's fortunes and they rank fifth in the qualifiers for TI9. This was the last championship for Immersion with Gambit.
In September 2019, Immersion becomes a Positive Guys player. After playing for the team for just one month, he moves to Team Spirit.
He joined Team Spirit Immersion in October 2019. The player stayed there until June 2020. The best results for TS were 5-6th place on WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020 and 4th place at Epic Prime League Season 1. In June 2020, Immersion becomes a Natus Vincere player.
Natus Vincere and personal awards
Immersion has joined NaVi amid the coronavirus pandemic. With the team, he managed to participate in OGA Dota PIT S2: Europe Cis, where he took 5-6th place. During his career, the player has earned over $98,000 in prize money.
