The International 10 WE Qualifier: Tundra Esports Advance To Final
Ihor MatusThe final of the upper bracket of the Western European qualifying round for The International 10 has come to an end. In it, Tundra suddenly won the fight against OG, without losing a single card to the latter. After such a sensational fight, Tundra, who were one step away from entering The International 10, went to prepare for the final fight, and OG, in turn, fell into the lower bracket, where they will have to play with Nigma for reaching the grand final of the qualifiers.
The fight between Nigma and OG will be especially noteworthy, as The International champions will play in these teams for reaching the final of the qualifying round. Nigma representatives are the winners of The International 7, while OG players are two-time champions of The International 8 and 9. KuroKy in turn is also one of two players who have taken part in all The International tournaments to this day. Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov from Team Secret has the same title. If Nigma are defeated in the upcoming fight, then Puppey will remain the only player to have participated in all The Internationals. Previously, ddc was also on this list, but after he missed The International 9, this list was reduced to two players: KuroKy and Puppey.
The fight between OG and Nigma will take place tomorrow afternoon.
Right now, qualifying for The International 10 is taking place in the two remaining divisions: China and Europe. The championship with a prize pool of $ 40,000,000 + will be held from October 7 to 17 in the Romanian capital, Bucharest. The venue will be Arena Nationala, the largest stadium in Romania, with a capacity of over 40,000 people.
