
WePlay will host the second DPC 2021 Major in Kiev
Dota Pro Circuit 2021 Season 2 will end with a Major championship, which will be held in Kiev. WePlay have posted an announcement of this event on their website.
Previously, Nikobaby from Alliance hinted that the Major competition would be held in the capital of Ukraine.
The championship will be held in Japanese style and will be named AniMajor. The date of the tournament is June 2-13. The 18 teams that showed the best results during the second season of Dota Pro Circuit in all six regions will receive invitations to the tournament. The six teams start right away from the playoff stage, the other sextet will start its journey in the group stage, and the third six will play the remaining two places in the group stage in Wild-Card. A total prize pool of $ 500,000 and 2,700 RMR rating points will be drawn between the teams.
The first Dota Pro Circuit 2021 Major tournament took place in Singapore. The tournament was held in accordance with all safety rules that corresponded to today's realities. The teams were separated from each other as much as possible, and all the confrontations with the exception of the playoffs took place in specially equipped rooms. The final stage matches were held in the arena, but the audience was absent. Then Invictus Gaming raised the trophy over their heads, having gained the upper hand in the decisive match against Evil Geniuses.
