Execration Defeat Team Spirit at BLAST Slam IV
Execration unexpectedly defeated Team Spirit in their opening match at BLAST Slam IV. The Filipino team was considered one of the tournament underdogs, yet they created a sensation right from the start.
Both teams began the match calmly, and after 10 minutes, the situation on the map was even. Execration showed excellent positional play. while Team Spirit focused on farming. A successful fight at the 19-minute mark allowed Execration to take the lead. They managed to hold their advantage and defeated one of the strongest teams in the tournament with a score of 28–17. The match lasted 36 minutes.
