The qualifiers for ESL One Bangkok 2024, one of the best Dota 2 tournaments of the year, have recently concluded. This tournament is organized by ESL One as part of the ESL Pro Tour, with support from Intel, DHL, and other well-known sponsors. The qualifiers took place across all regions, each featuring top teams competing for a spot in the tournament in the familiar Bo3 and Bo1 formats. In this article, we will tell you which teams have qualified for ESL One Bangkok 2024, the tournament's format, and the prize pool.

ESL One Bangkok 2024 Participants

The tournament will feature 12 teams: 4 teams were invited based on the EPT Leaderboard, and 8 teams earned their spots through the qualifiers. According to the ESL Pro Tour Season 3 Leaderboard, the teams that qualified are Team Falcons, BetBoom Team, Team Spirit, and PARIVISION, who finished the season in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place in the standings, respectively, making them some of the top contenders for victory. The qualifiers also provided plenty of excitement. ESL One Bangkok 2024 Format

Now that you know all the participating teams, it's important to understand the tournament format. ESL One Bangkok 2024 will take place from 09.12.2024 to 15.12.2024 in Bangkok at the Royal Paragon Hall. From December 9 to 11, the group stage will be held, featuring two groups of 6 teams each, playing in a round-robin format. All series will consist of 2 games. The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs, while the 3rd and 4th place teams from each group will move to the lower bracket. All other teams will be eliminated.

The playoffs will be held from December 13 to 15 in a double-elimination bracket format. All matches, except for the Grand Final, will be Bo3, with the Grand Final being Bo5. This is the usual competition format for ESL One, so it will be familiar to all Dota 2 and esports fans.

ESL One Bangkok 2024 Prizepool

As mentioned above, ESL One Bangkok 2024 is one of the best Dota 2 tournaments of 2024, so it's logical that the prize pool will be quite substantial. The total prize pool is $1,000,000, and here's how it will be distributed among the teams:

  • Winners - $300,000
  • 2nd place - $175,000
  • 3rd place - $120,000
  • 4th place - $85,000
  • 5th-6th place - $57,500
  • 7th-8th place - $47,500
  • 9th-10th place - $30,000
  • 11th-12th place - $25,000

Additionally, each team will receive points that will be added to the ESL Pro Tour Season 3 Leaderboard. The winning team will earn 4,800 points. We wish all the teams good luck and hope the fans of the participating teams and Dota 2 enthusiasts enjoy the tournament.
