Maksym ShylovThe first matches of the first division of the winter part of the DPC season in Southeast Asia, DPC SEA 2023 Tour 1: Division I, start tomorrow. The best representatives of Southeast Asia will meet to determine the best of the best in the region, share prizes and DPC points, which needed to receive an invitation to The International. Top 3 teams will earn slots in 4D Esports Lima Dota Major 2023, the first Major tournament this year.
Format
The 8 best esports clubs, of which 6 have previously played in Division I, and 2 teams have been promoted due to their successful performance in the second division, will fight in the Single Round-Robin group. The match format is bo3. Each participant will play 7 matches. Esports clubs that take places in the top 3 will receive, in addition to prize money, slots for the first Major in 2023, which will be held in Lima, Peru.
Teams ranked 1st to 6th retain their slots in the Southeast Asian DPC Division 1. The 2 teams that performed worse than the rest will be forced to go down in the class.

There have been some changes in the camp of participants compared to last season. RSG disbanded their own roster and their slot went to Blacklist International. Bleed Esports bought the seat from T1. Geek Slate took Lilgun's slot.
Prize distribution
Teams will compete for a $205,000 prize pool and 690 DPC points.

- 1st - $30,000 - 300 DPC points - Major and Division I slot
- 2nd Place - $28,000 - 180 DPC points - Major and Division I slot
- 3rd - $27,000 - 120 DPC points - Major and Division I slot
- 4th - $26,000 - 60 DPC points - Division I slot
- 5th Place - $25,000 - 30 DPC points - Division I slot
- 6th - $24,000 - Division I slot
- 7th - $23,000 - Division II slot
- 8th - $22,000 - Division II slot
