ESL One Malaysia 2022: Team Aster top Group A
Ihor MatusThe matches of the second stream in Group A have come to an end, which means that it's time to talk about how successfully they ended. As part of these meetings, Entity competed with Team Secret, Team Aster fought with Alliance, and Talon Esports competed against Thunder Awaken.
Entity vs Team Secret
1 card
The first map was quite interesting. In it, Team Secret relied on Templar Assassin and Mars. Until 33 minutes, the game was dictated by Puppey and his teammates, and regular ultra-kills did not allow their opponents to rest and gather strength.
Nevertheless, 33 minutes after the start of the cards, Entity managed to find the strength to put up strong resistance to the European team and change the balance in their favor. The team didn't have much of a gap and was almost 10,000 behind on all counts and was able to make a comeback thanks to that.
Several successful teamfights and Ember Spirit, Pudge and Visage were able to justify the expectations placed on them. The map ended 40 minutes later with a score of 45-38 in favor of Team Secret, but a victory for Entity, and Tobi, who played on Visage, showed the best performance.

Of course, Puppey and his teammates did not like the past on the first map, and the team quickly worked on their mistakes, as a result of which they showed a game of a completely different level on the second map.
There, the team relied on the powers of Nisha and Sniper in his hands. Together with Crystallis, they showed the highest farming and kill rates. By the way, both esportsmen never died during the whole game.
Team Secret got off to a solid start and snowballed throughout the game. In the end, they managed to reach a net worth advantage of 17,500, and it took them only 25 minutes to win. The map ended with a score of 20-6 in favor of Secret and the match ended 1-1.
Team Aster vs Alliance
1 card
Team Aster began to dictate the rules of their game practically from the very beginning. Monet became the main star of the first map and finished the game on Faceless Void with 17-0-9 statistics, despite the fact that his teammates made 5 and 8 kills each, and the enemy mid player made 6 kills in the whole game.
The meeting ended in half an hour with a score of 38-10 on the scoreboard in favor of Aster. Alliance were left out of business in this fight and did not implement any of their ideas. By the way, Aster was leading by 25,000 net worth points.
2 map
On the second map, only one thing changed - Team Aster's dominance over Alliance was even stronger. Even the peak remained such that all hope was placed on Faceless Void in the hands of Monet. The latter played with a score of 10-2-16, but now the team's mid-player Ori, who played on Puck with a score of 15-2-12, also helped him as much as possible.
Alliance's Nikobaby did a good job tipping the scales in Alliance's favour, and played Pudge with a score of 11-3-2, but failed to materialize. After 43 minutes of torment and a 30,000 net worth gap, the team finally gave up and wrote to GG, realizing that there was nothing they could do about it in this game.
Thunder Awaken vs Talon Esports
1 card
On the first map, we could observe the game of one person. DarkMago, who played mid for Tiny, became the main playmaker and finished the map with 16-3-11 stats, making almost half of all the kills made by his team. Pakazs also actively helped, taking control of Templar Assassin and finishing the map with a score of 7-1-14.
In the opposing team, 23savage on Monkey King and Q on Phoenix took the most part. They made 6 and 5 kills respectively. In 27 minutes, Thunder Awaken went 21,000 net worth ahead of their opponents and shoved all lanes. Despite the fact that they didn't break T4 towers, Talon Esports decided not to delay the inevitable and wrote to GG to move on from what had happened and immediately proceed to the second map.
2 map
The second map in the match Thunder Awaken vs Talon Esports was exactly the opposite. Talon this time were on horseback. Perhaps the main role here was played by the fact that they banned Tiny and Templar Assassin, which they suffered from in the last game. The mid laner who played on Puck and the team carry who took Visage brought a lot of impact into the game and made 13 kills each.
After 32 minutes of play, Talon Esports took a lead of 26,000 net worth and won. Just like on the previous map, this time the losers texted GG after they were torn down on all sides.
