Entity advance to ESL One Malaysia 2022 closed qualifier grand final
Maksym ShylovThe final of the upper bracket of the ESL One Malaysia closed qualifier in Europe has ended. Gaimin Gladiators played against Team Entity in a bo3 series.
At the beginning of the 1st map, the participants of the upcoming PGL Arlington Major, Entity, tried to resist. But Gaimin Gladiators systematically won fights and outplayed opponents with a score of 31:6 in half an hour. It's worth noting that Pure and Fishman couldn't get a single kill at all, finishing 0-4-1 and 0-9-4 respectively.
The 2nd map of the series turned out to be extremely competitive due to late heroes from both sides, namely Arc Warden for GG and Faceless Void for Entity. Fishman and the team managed to bounce back in 53 minutes with a score of 52:30 and bring the game to the decisive map.
Entity outplayed Gaimin Gladiators on the 3rd map in 37 minutes with a score of 40:17. Of the 40 kills, 17 belong to the team's carry, Pure, who played Sniper. Thus, Entity advance to the grand final of the closed qualifier, and they will find out the name of their opponent at the end of the lower bracket final, which will take place tomorrow.
Recall that ESL One Malaysia 2022 Europe/CIS: Closed Qualifier runs from August 28th to 30th of this year. 8 participants are fighting for the only ticket to the main stage of ESL One Malaysia 2022.
