Based on what we saw in Dota 2 Champions League Season 12, we can assume that the group stage will go as follows: four best teams from each group will advance to the playoffs. Teams that will take 5th-6th places will finish their way in the championship. The participants that enter the top 2 of each six will start from the upper bracket, and the teams that occupy 3-4 lines in the group stage table will go to the lower bracket. The final stage, respectively, will be held in the double elimination bracket, and all matches, with the exception of the grand final, will be in a series of up to two wins. The last match will take place in Bo5 format.
