DPC 2021/2022 Tour 3: events digest for 10.06
Maksym ShylovGaming Friday has passed as part of the Dota 2 rating season. In total, 8 matches were played in regions such as North America, South America, China and Eastern Europe in two divisions. Below is a summary of all events on June 10th.
DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 3
Traditionally, the day was opened by matches in one of the parts of the New World, in this case we will talk about South America. In the first division, the stable representatives of this league, Infamous, clashed with the Thunder Awaken team, which this year managed to score 1st place at DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I. Hokori also faced SG e-sports. SG were able to earn a slot in the top division thanks to their win in the bottom league.
- Infamous vs Thunder Awaken - 2:0
- Hokori vs SG e-sports - 1:2
The participants of ESL One Stockholm put up a decent resistance on the 1st map, but this was not enough. And the confrontation on the 2nd map of Infamous was able to finish in 27 minutes. As a result, Infamous earn their 1st win of the season with a 2-0 score. SG e-sports beat Hokori, the result in the series is 1:2.
DPC CN 2021/2022 Tour 3
The most interesting event of the game day took place in China. In the elite division, Royal Never Give Up began their journey, which until the final part of the season was in 18th place in terms of the number of DPC points. They faced Dandelion Esport Club, who have earned just $17,000 for winning the second division throughout the team's existence. A league below Shenzhen was opposed by Team Saiyan.
- Shenzhen vs Team Saiyan - 1:2
- Royal Never Give Up vs Dandelion Esport Club - 0:2
The first map, Dandelion, was taken away partly because of good execution, but RNG were wrong enough. The second card came out protracted, its duration was 53 minutes. Thanks to the incoherent RNG carry and the more late carry Medusa, Dandelion was also won by the newbies from the lower division. It is worth noting that the game turned out to be tense with a sufficient number of unexpected twists and turns. Thus, Royal Never Give Up sensationally lost to a team from the second league. It is not just that they say that China is the most competitive region in Dota 2. You can read more about this series in the corresponding news. Shenzhen lost to Team Saiyan 1:2.
DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 3
Meetings within the framework of Eastern Europe were held with a score of 0:2, despite the game of completely different teams in terms of level. In the first division, Rune Eaters met with the former winners of the ESL One Stockholm qualifier, Mind Games. Outsiders played against One Move, and the second division was marked by a duel between HellRaisers and No Sorry.
- Mind Games vs Rune Eaters - 0:2
- One Move vs Outsiders - 0:2
- HellRaisers vs No Sorry - 0:2
The Rune Eaters roster, whose core consists of players from Kazakhstan, was able to beat Mind Games, winning on both maps. Mind Games had previously qualified for the Major of the previous part of the season, but were disqualified due to the fact that the team could not come to the tournament itself. More experienced and eminent representatives of the Outsiders easily coped with their colleagues from One Move with a score of 2:0, the duration of each map was less than 30 minutes. BLACKARXANGEL and the team defeated HellRaisers, also closing the series in 2 maps.
DPC NA 2021/2022 Tour 3
In North America, there was only 1 match in the lower division. Division II regulars Arkosh Gaming faced off against 5ManMidas. 5ManMidas made it to the ranking season by winning the closed qualifier, where they defeated Black Ice eSports in the lower bracket final.
- Arkosh Gaming vs 5ManMidas - 2:0
Arkosh Gaming were able to beat 5ManMidas with a score of 2:0. It is worth noting that the winners played different picks on both maps, which may indicate that the team is not concentrating on the constant use of several specific characters. This concludes our digest.
As a reminder, DPC 2021/2022 Tour 3 runs from June 6 to July 15, 2022. In the first division of each region, $205,000, 1150 DPC points are up for grabs to qualify for The International 11, as well as slots for the PGL Arlington Major. In the second division of each region, teams compete for $75,000 and 2 places in the first division.
