Not so long ago it became known that Bogdan "Iceberg" Vasilenko left the Team EmpireDota 2 roster, and today a replacement was announced - Zaur "Cooman" Shakhmurzaev will play for the team in the next matches. The new mid-leader of the team will play for the team within the DPC EEU 2021/22 Tour 1: Division I in matches against Mind Games and HellRaisers.

Now Team Empire occupies the last line in the group with zero matches won and are the main contenders for relegation to the second division.
