About the organizer and the tournament

The company WESG is the organizer of the championship, last year it hosted a large tournament in four disciplines: CS:GO, Dota 2, StarCraft II and Hearthstone. The general prize pool was in the sum of $4,500,000 and $1,500,000 was given for Dota 2.

About the participants, the format and the prize pool

The competition has an enough unusual format - teams must include only players from one country. Totally, 32 teams, that have become the best ones in the regional qualifiers, will compete in the championship and they will struggle for $1,500,000 of the prize pool. It is worth to notice that DPC points will not be up for grabs due to the specifics of the competition.
