DOTA Summit 9 is planned to take place on 25-29 July this year in the USA. The championship will be happening in the play house of the studio Beyond the Summit in Los Angeles, and the tournaments of this organizer are known for their home environment, wonderful entertaining videos and comfortable conditions for the players. Also there is no viewer present at the tournament.
The format
Six collectives will take part in the competition, and five out of them have received direct invitations, while the last slot was taken by the winner of the tournament BTS Summer Cup. All the participants will get to one group where they will be playing by Round Robin in the bo2 format. According to the results of the group stage no collective will leave the championship, but the results will get great importance at the seeding - two best rosters will get straight to the final of the upper bracket while the other four participants are to start their route to the victory at the lower bracket. All the matches of the playoff stage will be played up to two wins, and the grand final will provide us with a full bo5 meeting.
