At first glance, the match is not the top one, as Vp and BIG are not up to the level of TIR-1 teams yet, but both teams are clearly aiming for play-offs and their face-to-face meeting will obviously be The International heresy.

The Roobet Cup 2023 itself was the pulse of Vp's triumph. They beat Monte 2-1 in the grand final, earning their first major win in a long time. Later there was Thunderpick World Championship 2023, where Vp also reached the final, but they failed to beat FaZe and as a result - 0-2.
Before playing at BB Dacha Vp played at ESL Challenger Winter. There they reached the top 4, losing in the semi-finals to the future champions from Monte. BB Dacha itself was a very successful event for Vp: there they reached the finals and lost to Spirit 2-3 in a close series.
Just before their appearance at BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2024, where Vp were partnered with BLAST, they played at ESL Challenger at DreamHack Atlanta 2023, where they won the championship, beating Apeks 2-0 in the grand finals.

Prior to the ESL Pro League Season 18 Long Round, the team played at Thunderpick World Championship 2023: European Series #1 with a top-2 finish. There was also a top-8 at CCT East Europe Series #7 and a win at CCT Europe Series #7.
At ESL Pro League Season 18 they debuted with a match against Monte. The Ukrainian club fought honourably, but in the end they were defeated by Ledgeil with the score 1-2, putting BIG in the semi-finals of Group B at ESL Pro League Season 18.

In the first match at CCT Online Finals #5 BIG played Zero Tenacity. "The Germans proved to be stronger, easily defeating ZT. In the next game BIG faced Guild Eagles and were stronger, and very confidently - 2-0. Next, the BIG stage opponent was 9 Pandas and once again the Germans did not feel the enemy. A confident 2-0 against the Pandas led them to the final of the upper grid. There they slammed Aurora without much difficulty and later repeated it in the grand final of the tournament.
BIG has 3 of the best maps in their arsenal. They are Overpass, Vertigo and Anubis with 5 matches and 3 wins on each.
The most played map is Ancient. BIG have played 14 matches there and have a 57% win rate.
The most unlucky map is Inferno with two wins and two losses. The worst map is Mirage (9 matches, 33% wins).
Previously the teams have not played each other in official matches. Or rather they did, but in the distant 2021, which makes no sense to us.
We should expect a close game in this match. Both teams finished last season on a high note and are ready to make their way to the play-offs of BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2024, as the group allows. When it comes to the winner, I have more faith in BIG.
