Among the matches of the second matchday, we highlight FURIA vs. BIG, which promises to be a very exciting clash. While the teams are preparing, we’ll share CS2 betting prediction and match preview.
How the bookies view it: FURIA favorite
Most bookmakers consider FURIA the clear favorite. The team has shown a decent level of play this year, participating in most S-tier tournaments of the season. However, BIG should not be underestimated either — although the team performed better in CS:GO, their current roster has also shown solid progress.
FURIA form. What result can be expected from FURIA
Our betting tips for the FURIA vs. BIG matchup begin with analyzing FURIA form. FURIA is a well-known esports team with numerous victories under its belt. The team is known for sudden bursts of excellent play when no one can predict it. Despite inconsistent results this year, FURIA still ranks among the world’s top 20 teams. Their synergy and experience make them a serious opponent, and these strengths are expected to help them secure victories and qualify for BLAST Bounty Fall 2025.
FURIA roster: FalleN, yuurih, KSCERATO, YEKINDAR, molodoy
FURIA has a rich history, consistently participating in top-level CS:GO tournaments and now in CS2. At the same time, the team has been relatively unstable — they could show great performances in one part of the season, fully justifying all CS2 predictions, and then fail to reach even the top 16.
Traditionally, we begin our analysis with the 2023 season. The team started with a mediocre performance at ESL Pro League Season 17, placing 9–12th, followed by a 5–6th place at IEM Rio 2023 and 15–16th at BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. However, in the second half of the season, the team gained momentum, won Elisa Masters Espoo 2023, and ended the year with renewed confidence and good preparation for the next season.
In 2024, FURIA also participated in a large number of qualifiers and tournaments, aiming to establish themselves at the highest CS2 level. However, the team struggled to show a consistently high level of play. Among their best achievements in 2024 were 3rd–4th place at YaLLa Compass 2024, 5th–8th place at the Esports World Cup 2024, and another 3rd–4th place at Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2024.
In 2025, the team finally reached a better level of play. At the start of the season, FURIA performed moderately at IEM Katowice 2025 and ESL Pro League Season 21, placing top 16 and top 14 respectively.
However, the team then showed great progress, finishing 4th at PGL Astana 2025, 5th–8th at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, and 5th–6th at Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2025.
BLAST Bounty Fall 2025: Closed Qualifier is a chance for the team to prove their high level of play.
BIG form. What result can be expected from BIG
We continue the analysis of the FURIA vs BIG match by analyzing BIG’s form. BIG is one of the most well-known German CS teams in history. Although the team achieved most of its results in CS:GO, they are currently gaining momentum.
BIG roster: tabseN, Krimbo, JDC, kyuubii, hyped
In the 2023 season, the team participated in a large number of qualifiers and tournaments, so we will highlight the main ones. At ESL Pro League Season 17, the team placed in the top 20. It may seem like a poor result, but with 32 teams competing, this was an average performance for a mid-tier team like BIG.
After a short slump in form, BIG returned to a good level by placing 2nd at BLAST Premier: Spring European Showdown 2023, backed by a 5–6th place finish at Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2023.
The next notable achievements for the team were victories at CCT Season 1 North Europe Series #7 and CCT Season 1 North Europe Series #8 — in the second tournament, BIG defeated Team Spirit in the final.
The team ended the year by winning CCT Season 1 Online Finals #5, confirming their status as one of the strongest Tier-A teams.
The 2024 season was less impressive for the team. BIG continued to participate in many tournaments but with slightly less success.
Despite a 4th place at Skyesports Masters 2024, the team had a mediocre performance at ESL Pro League Season 19, finishing in the top 16.
They returned to a higher level of play closer to the end of the season, finishing 2nd at ESL Challenger at DreamHack Atlanta 2024, 5th–8th at Thunderpick World Championship 2024, and 15th–16th at Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024.
In the 2025 season, BIG has been showing clearly better performances. The team placed 9th–11th at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 and 2nd at MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025, losing to HEROIC in the final.
Among other good results, 3rd place at European Esports Championship 2025 is worth highlighting.
