The North American team had to pull out of the championship due to the reason that they lost two players who helped the team to make it to the Minor tournament. Initially, a match between Luminosity and Team Envy was supposed to be held to define the participant of the minor, however, Envy reported about their intention to perform at Intel Extreme Masters Chicago 2019 so the players withdrew as a candidate.

Americas Minor Championship — Berlin 2019 will be a debut for Joao ‘felps’ Vasconcellos.

The American minor will be taking place from 17 till 21 July in Berlin. Eight contestants are going to participate in it, six out of them passed the North American qualifier, the other two — the South American one. The total prize pool will consist of $50,000, 2 invitations to the Major tournament and 1 invitation to 3rd Place Play-In. The first two participants will get $30,000 and $15,000 along with the invitations to the major, correspondingly, and the team that will take the 3 place will get to 3rd Place Play-In, gaining $5,000 as a prize pool. At the Play-In, four teams taking the third places in their minors will fight for two more invitations to StarLadder Berlin Major 2019.
