List of the invited participants announced on SL i-League StarSeries #4
StarLadder revealed the list of the teams which had received direct invitations to the tournament.

StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 4 will take place from 17 February till 25 February in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv. The place of holding will become National Palace of Arts "Ukraina" and the prize fund will be $300,000. The winner will get the main money award of $125,000. 16 collectives will take part in the tournament. 12 of them have been known already. TyLoo and MVP.PK made it to the final thanks to their Asian qualification.

Initially, the list was different as it included such teams as North and Ninjas in Pyjamas, but these collectives decided to refuse to take part in the tournament.
